Watermelon Summer Drink | Recipe

Cool off this summer with this sweet, delicious and refreshing watermelon juice that will quickly make you a watermelon juice addict!

It’s a perfect recipe for summer fun under the sun and a great way to stay hydrated in the summer heat.

It’s my favorite summer go-to and trust me, when you try this recipe, you’re gonna want to keep coming back for more!

Best of all, it’s easy and only takes a few minutes to make.

My watermelon juice secret

Here’s what you will need:

1 mini watermelon cut into chunks

¼ cup fresh mint leaves

¼ cup of Aloe Vera gel

2-3 fresh basil leaves – I only added a couple of leaves to give it just a hint so that it doesn’t over power the mint. It makes for a perfect flavorful combination. This one is optional so you can just leave this one out if you’d like.

1-32 ounce mason jar

And, your Vitamix or blender of choice.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Go ahead and add in all of the ingredients and blend until smooth. This should take no more than 20 to 30 seconds.

Once blended, pour it on in.

With watermelon juice, I don’t strain it because I like to keep the pulp.

It not only retains the fiber, it keeps you full a bit longer and if you want to store it, the pulp helps to maintain the freshness a bit longer as well but be sure to store it in an airtight container like a mason jar if you are going to be storing it in the fridge.

If you pack it to go, take a separate large BPA free plastic blender bottle to pour it into so that it makes it easier to haul but be sure to pack it in a cold insulated cooler and don’t let it sit in the sun for too long or it will spoil.

You may want to buy a few mini watermelons because this is one you’ll want to make over and over again!😉
