Recipe: Fall Green Chocolatey Smoothie

There’s no doubt that this pandemic has brought stress among many and now with the holidays upon us, even more which is why it’s so important to fuel your mind and body with nutrient rich plant foods that will help keep you healthy as you continue to move forward. Start with this clean, plant powered smoothie that will re-energize your senses and boost your mental state.

Don’t let the color fool you on this one. This is one deliciously tasting smoothie that will quickly become your fall go-to at first sip… especially if you love chocolate.
It’s dark chocolate at it’s finest!
Also, don’t be mistaken with “cocoa” powder. That’s the JUNK stuff. Cacao is derived straight from the source – the cacao bean which has an abundance of health benefits.

Cocoa is a highly processed powder that usually contains added sugar and dairy.

Cacao health benefits

Reduces the risk for diabetes

Reduces inflammation

And, it also serves as an aphrodisiac! Ready to get blending?!

Note: If you don’t like chocolate, that’s OK. Just eliminate this ingredient from the recipe. It will still taste just as good.
