Description

In your comfortable clothing, you will wake up to hot tea or coffee, simple fresh fruit upon request and light stretching/yoga or meditation.

Weather permitting, we walk to the lighthouse (close to a 3-mile roundtrip walk) at our own pace and with options for shorter walking routes.

Well-appointed 4 bedroom private home steps away from one of the largest beaches in SouthWest Michigan on the big Lake (Lake Michigan). Large living room area for Yoga with a large addition planned for 2021 that will extend many programming options.

Large Island in the kitchen is ideal for teaching, small cooking classes, or filming. Excellent sunlight with many windows facing the River.

    Are solo travelers safe / welcome?

    Absolutely! Most of our guests attend solo and love it! We promise to take really good care of you for your stay with us.

    Can you arrange an airport transfer? How far is it from the airport?

    We do have options for airport transfer and those tend to be updated on a list of accommodations we usually e-mail guests once you book or through discussion if you call us. We are happy to answer all questions over the phone. Feel free to call or text: 269-906-2226

    What is the average age range?

    While we have had a wide range of ages, most of our guests are between 40 - 75 years old.

    How many people will be on the retreat?

    Currently, we max out at 10 guests.

    Is a shorter or longer stay possible?

    We offer a 4 day and 6 day program. Guests are often able to stay in the gorgeous area longer depending on the accommodation they choose.

    Is this suitable for teenagers? (12 to 18)

    Yes, We love teenagers and catching them early in their life to promote healthy cooking habits!

    Can I bring along my pet(s)?

    Many guests have brought their pets based on the rooms available nearby that allow pets, which there are many.

    Is the program flexible? Do I have to join all of the yoga classes?

    Nope. Everything is optional. This retreat is meant to help you level up your health from wherever you are at. Some guests have to work during the day or choose to sleep. It's all about Your needs.

    Can a child JOIN the retreat OR can I bring along my children? (under 12)

    Children under 12 may be permitted depending on the specific situation. The retreat isn't geared for children specifically. Please call Jill or Kathy for more information.

    Are the dates flexible or do you have any other retreat dates than this one? (if host is one time / multiple)

    Currently, We run these transformational retreats in the Spring and the Fall.

    How much free time do we have?

    Our daily schedule includes hands-on cooking classes, nutritional education content, group walking or indoor movement class of some type and about 3 hours after lunch of personal time for reflection, naps, shopping, journaling, reading, etc. etc.
