Holiday Gift Guide: For Parents and In-Laws

Parents and in-laws are so hard to shop for, my gosh! Either they’re too picky or they already have everything they want and need. And when you ask them to tell you what they want, they say, “You don’t have to get me anything” or “Save your money, I don’t need anything.” They make it so difficult sometimes that trying to get them to say what they want is like pulling teeth! Sheesh. So in thinking and searching, I gathered up some ideas that might be helpful for the ‘tough to shop for’ parents’ or in-laws on your list.

Some of my faves are the digital picture frame which I feel is perfect to share photos of the grandkids (if you have any) and your family. Especially if you have parents across the miles that won’t be traveling this holiday season because of covid like mine. 🙁

I also love the Himalayan salt lamp and essential oil diffuser. This one is so cool because it’s a 2-in-1. You get the healing benefits of the Himalayan salt stones AND the essential oils! They can use the essential oils kit to create their own personalized scent. A good oil is important if you want it to last long and yield optimal benefits. I’ve tried the cheapy ones before and the scent doesn’t last long at all. Personally, I enjoy more of the blend type oils versus the singles. Something about them that makes the air more soothing to breathe in. You can find unique blends here

Another great gift idea is the squatty potty. I know it’s a weird kinda gift but trust me, it will totally be appreciated! Especially if your parents or in-laws have a hard time moving things along. This will totally help with that and help improve their health at the same time. Makes a thoughtful wellness gift if you ask me!

The smart plug is also an awesome gift you can’t go wrong with. It will help make life much easier. I’m sure the parentals and in-laws would appreciate that.

I also love the idea of giving subscription boxes. Cratejoy has so many good ones to choose from which makes it hard to decide but the date night box and faith and family box, I thought would make a thoughtful, creative gift idea for everyone to enjoy. Makes for the start of new traditions and family time memories at home while staying safe and keeping the mind occupied in a healthy way. I just LOVE this idea.

All of these are amazing gifts so you can’t go wrong with any of them. If you come across any gift ideas not mentioned here, I’d love to hear them!
