It was my first time going to one so I was excited to see what the “salt spa” craze is all about.
Weekday mornings aren’t as busy so I was able to get the room to myself. Normally, they can seat up to 7 people at a time but because of covid, they’ve minimized their rooms to holding 2 per session. At least in the room I was in.
If you don’t know what a salt spa is, it’s a self-healing Halotherapy treatment of pure pharmaceutical grade himalyan salt that is known to alleviate allergies, asthma, respiratory issues, chronic bronchitis and smoke-related symptoms that may cause shortness of breath and wheezing. It’s a great way to boost your immune system and recharge your defenses.
The way this works is, you sit in a holistically inviting salt room where the walls are embedded with salt stones and the ground is covered in pounds of Himalayan salt.
